Deb Weiser’s creative mind can make any canvas come to life! This work titled “Natures Fury” is a commentary piece on global warming and what is happening to the beautiful wildlife suffering the consequences of our actions in their natural habitat.
Deb portrays the image of a polar bear hunting through the water to show the melting of the polar ice caps. The loss of the environment has caused the polar bears to migrate into parts of other countries close by and is now causing some new hybrids between grizzlies and polar bears (most commonly seen in parts of Canada). It has been estimated that there are only 22,000 – 31,000 polar bears left, deeming them an endangered species.
This work by Deb invokes deep emotion and thought about some heavy issues going on today.
