Don Dixson is a Cedar-Rapids-based artist whose work is in the collections of many local corporations and has been shown at several Cedar Rapids art galleries. Dixson uses hand-dyed fabrics and improvisational piecing techniques to create artworks with balance and precision that evoke the warmth and comfort of colorful quilts.
